For more than 4 years Why Sports have provided an enviable series of conferences and associated communication platforms, amplifying policy objectives, delivering positive outcomes and more importantly, bringing people together.
At the core of this mission is the Why Sports Annual Conference. Now in its 5th year, the conference continues to expand its outreach and improve upon its already outstanding mix of speakers and facilitators whilst cementing its unique position in the market.
The 2020 Annual Conference will take place on the 4th November 2020 at the historic Royal Society of Medicine, again featuring a variety of plenary and workshop presentations from Sport England.
Other leading agencies involved in tackling inactivity and improving population health will seize this opportunity to detail their respective areas of focus and collaborative approach to this crucial agenda.
The Why Sports Annual Conference has historically enabled the dissemination of the 'Sporting Future' and 'Towards an Active Nation' strategies to be covered in-depth, from conception to delivery. 2020 will see the evolution and development of the next 5 year Sport England strategy for tackling inactivity. Presenters will reflect on the attainment of the 2016-2021 goals, whilst providing an in-depth view on objectives and themes for the upcoming 2021 - 2026 period.
As ever, the annual conference will allow a platform for constructive debate to occur throughout the consultation period with a view to helping shape the context and future, of all policy in the activity and public health space.
Why Sports remain firmly committed to positively disrupting the sector and ensuring, through knowledge transfer and continuous learning, a social and economic legacy opportunity for all is firmly delivered upon. Please join us for a fantastic day and be part of the pre-conference online debate and conference community
